Sans titre, M.Bertillon ‘s book (published by RVB Books) materializes Solinas’s will to offer the possibility to everyone to conceive his own image of Alphonse Bertillon’s face. With photographs and text extracts, with elements to cut from the book, everyone can create it and make it their own, as a way to start the re-appropriation of his own face…In a video imagined as a user’s guide, Solinas shows how the individual components can be put back together again to create a three-dimensional mask of Bertillon's face.

Au travers de ce livre, est offert à chacun la possibilité de reconstituer, pour soi-même, l’identité de « Monsieur Bertillon. » Dans la première partie, 23 rectangles à découper permettent d’obtenir 28 éléments à assembler afin de former le masque de papier à l’effigie d’Alphonse Bertillon. Une fois construit, le masque peut être inséré dans l’ovale de la couverture du livre. 23 photographies, 23 extraits du texte de Suzanne Bertillon, sont à parcourir dans la seconde partie. Avec Sans titre, Monsieur Bertillon, à chacun de façonner, à sa manière, le visage d’Alphonse Bertillon; et, de commencer, peut-être, à se réapproprier le sien propre.
